Customized Workforce Development Solutions
Today's manufacturers face increasing pressure to do more with less, often struggling to meet productivity demands. The Tooling U-SME Talent and Workforce Services team partners with education, economic development, and workforce to develop customized training programs that align with local business goals and workforce needs.
As a strategic partner, we empower you to meet the evolving needs of corporate clients and drive statewide workforce initiatives. Tooling U-SME Talent and Workforce Services provide tailored solutions to bridge workforce gaps and drive long-term success.
Collaborative Capabilities Include:
Pre-Employment Training and Assessments: Training and assessment programs, customized or off-the-shelf, are designed to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful employment on day one.
Onboarding Program: Develop company-specific onboarding programs designed to help new employees integrate seamlessly into the workplace. These programs cover essential topics such as company culture, values, safety protocols, and job-specific tasks. A well-structured onboarding process reduces turnover, boosts productivity, and fosters a positive work environment.
Post-Employment Services: Training can be off-the-shelf and ready to deliver immediately, customized by existing materials, or built custom for the project. Services include:
- Comprehensive Analysis: A comprehensive analysis of training needs and program delivery needs, designed to help you provide seamless services to your client.
- HR Workforce Definition: Based on the needs analysis, the Talent and Workforce Services team can create job descriptions, career progression models, and training plans individualized to specific roles.
- Project Planning and Design: We will work with your project team to design a complete training and delivery plan that meets your client’s workforce needs.
- Organizational Support Training: Train-The-Trainer (T3), Standardized On-The-Job Training (SOJT), and Training Audit and Validation (TAV) can be provided to enable project sustainability. Delivery can be Instructor-led (your trainers, their trainers, or Tooling U-SME trainers), online (through Tooling U-SME’s extensive LMS), or blended depending on the client’s and the program’s needs.
